Availability: Private consultations to take place in your home or office are available Monday through Saturday from 10:00 am through 7:00 pm, the last appointment to start at 7:00 pm. Appointments available on Sunday from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm, with the last appointment starting at 7:00 pm. Phone consultations for returning patients are available during the same times as above. Services Available:  Initial Consultation: This is for new patients and involves an hour to an hour and a half intake, history, pulse and tongue diagnosis, blood pressure check and basic physical examination for musculoskeletal issues. A simple intake form and consent for treatment form available for download on this website needs to be filled out before the appointment. If you are unable to download the form, we will gladly send one to you in the mail. In order to provide comprehensive diagnosis, a complete blood chemistry screen and urine analysis needs to be done either before our first appointment or after the initial appointment. Acupuncture can be performed during the initial consultation after our conversation and examination. The entire appointment can last between two to three hours. Patients will receive a detailed report and action plan after the Initial Consultation. Return Consultation: After the initial consultation, return consultations are scheduled to either go over lab work, apply Acupuncture or monitor progress. The Return Consultation can take between 30 minutes and an hour and a half. Full Body Acupuncture: Acupuncture performed on the body. The Patient usually remains clothed, and the needles applied to the appropriate points. It is advised to wear loose fitting clothing such as a gym or sweat suit. Ear Acupuncture: Acupuncture performed only on the ear. The Patient can either lie down or be seated for this treatment, and can also be performed in a group setting. Nutritional Consultation: A detailed nutritional and menu plan for your specific needs. Blood and urine lab work must be completed for a comprehensive plan. Supplement Overview: Every 10th Acupuncture treatment is free. Two clients at the same site visit receive a $20.00 discount each. Groups of four or more for Ear Acupuncture only are $25.00 per person. Supplements and Herbs: A detailed overview of your supplements and herbs, Blood and urine lab work must be completed for a comprehensive plan Lab Work: Dr. Georgieff works with Professional Co-op and Diagnsotechs Labs. As a member of Professional Co-op, Dr. Georgieff has negotiated reduced fees with Lab Corps for detailed functional nutritional panels and routine lab work. These panels are comprehensive and more detailed than the regular panels ordered through typical requests, and at a fraction of the cost. They are unfortunately, due to their reduced cost and functional nature, not covered by insurance. Diagnostechs offers state of the art hormonal panels for men and women of all ages. These also offer comprehensive overviews of the physiology that typical tests overlook, and can sometimes be covered by your insurance. Dr. Georgieff has kits for the hormonal panels and can provide requisitions for blood and urine tests for labs in your area. Such lab work can help set our treatment course in a more focused direction by helping us to understand the intricacies of the basis of your problem. Lab work also allows an accurate monitoring of your progress. When we know the basis of your physiology, the proper supplements and treatments can be designed for your wellness. Lab work fees are payable to Dr. Georgieff before you obtain your tests. Hormone Panels are payable directly to Diagnostechs. Other blood tests vary according to the test ordered. IVF Acupuncture: Fees vary according to need and length of treatment, and include full body Acupuncture rates. Letters for insurance or litigation purposes are $30.00 per letter. To copy patient records, a $30.00 fee will be charged which covers copying and postage. Suppliments Dr. Georgieff does not sell supplements directly to her clients. When possible she recommends remedies that clients can obtain at health food stores or at local Chinese Herbal Pharmacies. If indicated, Apex Energetics Remedies will be recommended and can be ordered directly through their corporate offices in Irvine California. Clients will receive an  form to place their own orders through Apex, which mails them directly. Chinese herbal formulas can also be placed through May Way in Oakland California, and patients pay for them through Dr. Georgieff. May Way sends the formulas directly to the patients. Policies A 24 hour notice for non-emergency cancellations is appreciated. For non-emergency cancelled appointments with  less than 24 hours notice, a $50.00 fee will be charged. For regular patients, every 9th Acupuncture service is free. Dr. Georgieff offers super bills to her clients for them to submit to their insurance companies for direct reimbursement to the Patients.
